Before and after

Describe the change in tension, confidence, and capability a person can feel, then connect it back to evidence.

What became meaningfully different for the person?

Learn

A narrow job with a visible boundary

Use it to prove a design change, shape positioning, or reveal that a proposed change has no defensible human transformation.

Input

A JTBD corpus or a short interview, plus observed evidence from before and after the change where available.

Outputs

  • A first-person transformation grid
  • Evidence-linked dimensions
  • A visible gap when the change cannot yet be proved

Boundary

A persuasive transformation is not automatically a measured outcome. Unobserved claims remain hypotheses.

Invocation

humane:before-after

Before: I open every result because I cannot tell what matters. After: I narrow the set in one pass and know why each item remains.

The comparison moves from shipped objects to lived capability.

1 / 2
  1. Feature comparison

Before: no filters. After: advanced filters.

Before: I open every result because I cannot tell what matters. After: I narrow the set in one pass and know why each item remains.

  2. Unproved change

    The redesign makes users confident.

Confidence is a proposed after-state. Name the task and observation that would demonstrate it before publishing the claim.
